Two guards stop and fire an arrow, one at Merri, missing badly, and the other at Ignus, which sinks deep into the monk's thigh. The large one moves forward with sword equipped, stopping just short of the allies, and unloading a blast of acid vapors from his mouth. Merri takes the brunt of the attack.
