The corpses have been picked clean of anything remotely useful. The sands are getting hot, it may well be time to seek shelter from the scorching rays.
Owenston is the to notice small traces of webbing on the ground in the area, almost like a fine netting.

Krit Ka looks around for a decent spot of shades.

Anathos takes a moment to poke his obsidian sword into the ground that is covered by the webs----searching the ground for any sudden shifting of sand....

"Have any of you seen this before?" Owenston asks the rest of the group, pointing to the webbing.

Anathos pokes his sword into the sand and comes back with an eerie groan and blood.

"Hmmm," Anathos chitters, "Maybe I should be more careful where I poke my sword."

Vorgune looks down at the webbed areas from up on high (on yrgo). Looking to see if they resemble perhaps a Great Spider's webbing.'I have seen Spiders,big spiders. Wrap foos like that. (Snort) Leave alone, maybe Spiders angry (snort)' Yrgo honks his distress at the su's rays. Vorgune looks for a suitable place <Survival check, please> to find some respite from the heat.

Krit Ka approaches the webbing to see what everyone's looking at, but isn't really thrilled by what he sees, so he continues looking for a bit of shade.

The webbing seems to extend in a 30' radius just under the sands. A small bit of digging from Anathos shows the web holds a few bodies wrapped in cocoons. Some seem to still be at least partialy alive.

Vorgune looks for suitible shade but finds nothing n the area. he does however see a butte in the distance to the north that will be able to provide shade. It will tale about an half hour to get there.
