OOC: the damage these monsters are dealing is ridiculous. Rohna has the biggest weapon and the highest strength there is, and her regular attack only deals 19 max. And whats with the foes in rags having a 5 higher AC than the ppl in magic plate armor? There is something seriously wrong with this system... I'm not liking it more and more the longer I play. When there's nothing a FIGHTER can do to make themselves harder to hit, what you have is a broken rpg.

Let me know when I can take my turn...

GM: Due to Venakhad's interrupt/action, Czern was missed by that attack, so he is no longer sharing your square.

I believe that if an ally is standing in your square, when you stand up, you can shift one square.

In that instance, where you are immobilized, I would say you can't stand up as you can't share the same square.

Groggily, Alexia hexes the nearest harpy in an attempt to ground the flying creature. She tries to regain her faculties, but to no avail.

To the left of the battle, the gnoll wrapped up by the sewage otyugh breaks free, then clambers as fast as it can up the platform support.

Its comrade, now face first in feces, slops to its feet and tries to make haste moving away from the sewage monster.

The harpy, pulled face to face with Alexia, tries to scratch the bard, but misses even with Alexia still halfway defenseless from the harpy's song. Thinking twice of close combat, the harpy then flies backwards.

The two gnolls still left near Chael try to close on her again, one missing her and the other taking a savage bite from her companion Dusk.

The other harpy tries again to pull Chael from the walkway, this time luring Dusk over onto the rusty rail guard. When it gives way under him, Dusk falls down into the ooze below.

The waste loving creature decides to eat the thing trying to run away first, but misses the fleeing gnoll.

On the opposite bridge, the troll stands back up, the fiery effect fading, its wounds start to close. It slobbers and swings its arms, but fails to hit the undead knight of the avenger. "More! My servants! More, I call!"

Out of the shadows, another shadow troll appears behind Venakhad, scraping his claws down his back. The other shadow troll misses the prone kal'Tarron.

Focusing on her siren's call, the third harpy is finally able to enduce a hero from the platform, Rohna falling down into the muck.

The last of the gnolls attack Malehan and Czern, but do not find any gaps in their defense. The fighting is fierce, but for the first time, the heroes hold their own in the fight.


[sblock=religion 15] The gnolls and troll all bare marks of offering to Yeenoghu, the patron demon of gnoll kind. Other beings worship the jackal headed demon as well. [/sblock]
[sblock=nature or dungeoneering 18] The thing in the muck is definitely a otyugh, not surprising given they feed on anything and are common in sewers or other disgusting areas. Given their low intelligence, these creatures are likely neutral and not allies of the other creatures here. [/sblock]
