Wonder what the legality of this is.

Can't help any time I hear about Willingham but think of his weird misogynistic rant a few years back, and the role he played in the Silver Princess drama and what happened to Darlene at TSR...but that's not terribly material to this.

Interesting to see how that works out. I'm not a lawyer, so I have no idea what sorts of approach DC will take. Willingham has always been one of my top 5 D&D artists, largely because Mike Ploog is one of my all time favorite artists and their styles are similar

Yeah, knowing about his Bad News Bears history does color my reading of his account of how mean DC has been to him (it is quite one sided), though I am more than willing to believe that Warner-Discovery era DC is impossible to work with too.
Yeah sounds more likely to be a comedy of jerks than anything else lol
