Feral nudges Marks in the back and whispers, "If you're gonna make your play, you better do it now."

Marks shot a look at Feral. "My play?" he hissed. "No. Your play, you mean. I'm staying put til boss lady gets here. Much as I might like to do otherwise."

Keihn continued looking around the group. Displeasure blossomed on his face as he did. He edged further toward the entryway.

Feral raised his voice a touch, "Something's going down and its going down now. Take charge."

Marks grew taut when Feral lets his words carry through the room. He immediately moved away from Feral and stalked over to the dining table where he pulled out a chair--the metal legs raking audibly over the linoleum floor--and sat down. Keihn's eyes narrowed. He looked around the room. "You dumb flucks. You think you can just waltz out of here?" He reached a hand inside his winter coat to extract something.
