Not that it mattered in this case, but the light rays overcome damage reduction of any type. It probably will not matter here because this looks like a draw.

OK, that makes more sense. I'm glad they stated that explicitly, now all I have to do is read more carefully.

Haele flies back into the storm to land at 30n45e, and change form.
If the worm doesn't notice she will cast control winds to quiet the sandstorm, and begin summoning a Walsh (an Avoral)
