Abduction it is, then!

CR 9 or 10? It is very comparable to the bone devil (CR 9), except its poison deals Con damage rather than Str damage. Is that enough to boost it to CR 10?

Advancement: 11–20 HD (Large); 21–30 HD (Huge) like bone devil?

The advancement seems fine. Good question on the CR. It might be a weakish 10, but maybe it's better as a strongish 9.

The yeladon's wall of fire actually does damage, as opposed to wall of ice, but it gets less attacks and has an AC worse by 2 points. CR 9 is fine.

Speaking of "less attacks", since that mace is a manufactured weapon and the critter's BAB is over 5, it should get two attacks with it as a full attack action.

Edit: The venomous mace ability has a "teh" in it, rather than the "the" that's supposed to be there. It also seems odd to front-load the poison to do more damage first. Is there any particular reason we chose it to be 2d6 Con/1d6 Con, rather than the traditional 1d6/2d6?

Good catch on the iterative attack.

No reason for the order of the poison damage. It was just what came to mind.

Nice catches!

Updated.

Bone devils stand about 9 feet tall and weigh about 500 pounds. Since these guys are 10 feet tall, and probably have a bit more "meat" on their bones, how about 750 pounds?

Suggested tactics?

Weight sounds reasonable. Demiurge suggested striking and retreating (hence Flyby). That seems right to me, at least for fighting. Probably reasonable for abduction, too.

Also, I think we meant to give it plane shift.
