Interesting. I'm not sure I'd fancy playing a paladin in such a dark setting - must be difficult to decide on the "good" response when a badly-armed mob of peasants is seeking to lynch someone accused of witchcraft.as far as classes, we are 3.p & gestalt
currently
paladin / monk unchained / enlightened of lrori
marksmen / soulknife / soulbow / ranger / archer fighter
unchained rogue / psion / elocater
beguiler / prestigious Bard / 1/2 celestial / ranger
archivist / unchained rogue
And all of the characters seem like they could fall foul of the "spell-caster" prohibition, let alone the "foreigner" one, and end up on the wrong side of the mob themselves. Seems like it poses significant additional challenges for the DM and the players, but could provide an awesome campaign if you can pull it off.
