D20 Modern SRD updated with Urban Arcana

Unfortunately, the Moreaus still seem to be closed content, unless I've missed something.
Anyone see them in the MSRD?

None.

Much like the absence of the Mind Flayers and the Beholders in the core SRD, they're coveting the Moreaus for future plans, or at least keeping it under their quality control.

Of course, no one is stopping your from using the "idea" of genetically-engineered beings by using the material in the creatures section.

Actually, isint The Island of Dr Moreau a public domain book now?

While Illithids arent actually spelled out in any specific book using the term, Moraeu's ARE, in books and multiple movies.

So....name of Moraeu should be open by virtue of that.

The name may be, but the implementation isn't necessarily. Also, the Moreaus got their name from the books by S. Andrew Swann, who dealt with genetically engineered hybrids like these. And Swann used Island of Dr. Moreau as his inspiration, IIRC.
