Kudos to u Nadaka! but, how does the recoil points affect the no. of rounds hit?
and thanks to all others who responded!...will implement thm in our nxt session

1:When you fire a "burst" at a target, the number of hits is equal to 1 (assume your attack beats their defence).

2: +1 if you can subtract your recoil from the attack and still beat the defence, repeat 2 until you can no longer beat defence.

Another way to calculate rounds that hit is to find the difference between the attack roll and defence. Then take that number and divide by recoil. This is the number of "bonus" hits against the target (assuming that you hit in the first place).

For rakes it works on the same principal, but the mechanics are a little different.

You find the difference between the save DC and the targets save check. Then divide this number by the weapons recoil and that is the number of hits against that target.

In either case the max number of hits is limited by the number of rounds fired.
