And brought the rest of his gear upstairs aswell.
He calls the Gnome before he leaves the table "Might I have one of your best Ales dear man."

The gnome staggers across with an appropriately sized tankard.

"Probably no point to mentioning Felix here," Shavara says possibly a bit too loudly. "Captain said he was a teetotaler."

OOC: Perception check to see if anyone reacts to her mentioning Felix [roll0]

The entire room goes silent at the mention of the name Felix. The barmaid strides forward to your table"If yer here t' cause trouble ye can leave"

To the barkeep, Shavara says somewhat softly, "Pardon me? Captain Bedrock set up our lodging here." At a normal level, she adds, "And hired us to help search for the missing gnome. Do you know anything about what he may have been up to before he disappeared?"

"What may have been up Felix was insane driven mad by the whispers, obsessed with his machine. He was dangerous. The old one got to him!"

One of the other Patrons scoffs"old one pffft maybe your insane" the barmaid shoots him daggers.

GM: Actually this went well, have a cookie, this is the only place you could find this little tidbit of information and it could have interesting consequences depending on what you do with it.

Slightly confused by the appearance of a cookie, Shavara shrugs and takes a bite out of it. Mmm. Turning to the other patron, "Are you saying Felix was not insane?"

"Oh 'e was most definitely insane but all this talk of whispering old ones pffft" the old dwarf says I'm a condescending tone.

a pleased smile grew on Shildoor's face as the tankard was handed to him. After a few good gulps he turns toward the old dwarf. Foam mustache still on his face
"What kind of talk are you talking about?"

 

[Azurewraith]

"Well if you believe t' crazies apparently buried under this mountain is a god,that doesn't belong in this world as such 'is whispers drive you mad. What a bunch of rubbish." the old dwarf replies.

The barmaid quickly shoots back at the dwarf"How else do you explain Felix going from well respected artisan and researcher to a fanatic? How else do you explain the fact that no one ever returns from the depths? Well,well? 'ow else do you explain how you haven't paid your tab this month!
