From what they said at the PAX panel last year, this is a smaller version of Tsojcanth: probsvly closer to the 1974 version in scope. The fuller version in the hardcover book is likely, this is juat the free sample.

I wonder if they are releasing the full version that will be included in the Infinite Staircase or a truncated version (like only the upper caves). Single session does seem short, but it could be more of an old-school (6-hour+) session, equating to 2-3 VTT sessions today.

They did say the tournament "Descent" would be a shorter slice. First hit is free, for the rest buy the vook?

The original dungeon doesn't have a lot of really great set pieces beyond the final room anyway. Having them be empty or even caved-in wouldn't be a huge loss and would streamline the map.

It seems like this means it's not a reboot but an update since Iggwilv has changed quite a bit. More like Decent into the Found Caverns of Tsojcanth. I wonder what we'll find at the center of the Tootsie Pop?

This was my thought as well. The tournament part of the adventure was designed to be done in less than 4 hours, which fits into most group's session length.
