Not your screen monkey (he/him)
I don't get any resistance because I include my players in the decision when I think it's best to invoke some kind of house rule.

Depends on the change.

Fairly minor or speciilized changes (Dodge = flat +1 AC, Changes to Turn Undead) go over with almost no resistance. Larger changes (RPGA Weath Standards) are met with heavy resistance.

(For larger changes the players are involved in the deicision to adopt or not)

I got dice older than you.
No. And I don't think they ever would unless I did something nutso like take away armor and weapon proficiency from fighters or something.

No. I usually discuss any possible rules changes with my players. (And is always met with a collective shrug!)

No problems here.

All of the folks in my game-group enjoy game tinkering ... and most core rules need some serious tweeking, in our not very humble opinion ;)

Only in one group did I ever see it and that was because the DM was close minded everything had to be RAE and no third party stuff allowed.

Most of my other groups are cool with it as long as the rule is explained and we get a chance to discuss it.
