Does the distance you previously Jumped in a straight line count as "a running start"

So my brand new House rule: -10 cumulative for every jump after the first.

Hrm. I'm finding myself liking it too. I like the fact that it only requires the player to worry about one kind of jump. I can say "give me three running long jump totals" instead of making him worry about one running and two standing, then just apply a -10 and -20 to them on my end.

I think I'll be going with your HR too. I like simple, and as you've shown, the numbers come out the same.

Yup, most of my House rules are there to simplify things. Like my spot/Listen v/s hide/Move silently variants, but that is another forum and anothe thread..
