A quick search of the bodies shows that each of them wear talismans with a symbol of a three-taloned emblem, similar to what the kobolds you had defeated underground took as their insignia. Also, the priest was a half-orc wearing exceptional armor. A casting of detect magic reveals it to be a suit of magical plate mail (+1), while a magical short sword is found on the roguish character (also a +1). Also on the roguish character is a spellbook containing acid splash, flare, mage hand, read magic, resistance, mage armor, magic missile, shield, and true strike.
