Epic Build Ideas

Just a quick request for ideas. I am putting together an Epic build, but I haven't had much experience messing with the epic rules. What I need is some ideas on how to end this build.

Mineral Warrior, Half-Giant, Half-Minotaur (UA LA+3 buyoff)
Barbarian* 2 / Fighter 2 / BAB+1 Class 1 / War Hulk 10 / Frenzied Berserker 5 / Fighter 2 / ??? 8

*=UA Frenzy

Any ideas for a good match?

Either and/or both. Only thing I really dont want is to add Hulking Hurler to the mix. Technically it is a disgusting powerful build, but the character needs to be more of a specialist in the Greatsword. However, I am open to any decent ideas. Warmind was one such idea.

A potential problem: IIRC, the two forms of Frenzy won't stack.

Other than that, another level of barbarian will increase Ref & Will saves by +1 each.

The major problem that I see with this build is that you end up with a BAB of 15 (including epic bonuses)...the same as a Wizard or Sorcerer of the same level.

Those 10 War Hulk Levels, while they give some interesting abilities, are really bad for any character that'd even consider taking the PrC.

Remember that BAB & Saves increase at the same rate for all classes once you reach epic levels, so your combat oriented character really needs as much BAB as possible by level 20.

Hmm... thanks for that, I should have looked a wee more closely at the War Hulk. I knew there was a drawback to the class but could not remember what it was off the top of my head (and didnt have the book handy to look at.

Now that I am hoe (not work) with the book handy it slaps me in the face the loss of all BAB progression. Looking at the class more closely it dawns on me why I originally barely shed a glace at it. It is uterly useless unless being used as Epic Levels or in a Gestalt build where you are getting BAB from another class.

Definately like m_g2001's build better, though for the concept in question, not sure I'ld go with all of the 10 levels of berserker.

Thanks for the wake-up call on War Hulk though. Much easier to plan the epic levels now.

Ok, what if the build looked like the following, but you wanted to add in something that would give them something along the line of an ability to inspire others into battle. Not really the inspire Frenzy or an ability to boost allies, but more a way to coerce or force others to war.

Pre-Epic
Barbarian 5 / Fighter 2 / Exotic Weapon Master 1 / Frenzied Berserker 5 / Class* 5 / Fighter 2

[Epic]
War Hulk 5 / Class^ 5

* Class needs to be at least Medium BAB (for total BAB+18).
^ Can be most anything

I am toying with Bard 1 (UA Bard) / Warchanter 9 so far. From what I can tell there really arent any abilities to inspire others to battle. I'm not real keen on Bards personally, but its the only thing I can think of.

take fighter 4 for weapon specialization and then Epic weapon specialization.
It's worth +6 damage with that weapon.

Even a look to the Templar Prc is a good thing since that grant you weapon spec. in your deity's weapon an a couple of nice abilities :)
