He CAN sing, but his voice makes Lars Ulrich sound like a Seraphim.

I didn't know Lars could sing or perhaps your comparing Krusk's singing to Lars' drumming which would make for an even scarier analogy.

As a dedicated gnome player, what's this with the bard thing? Gnomes should have had their favored class get generalized to wizard with the elves getting the bard. Elves are much more foppish than gnomes.

I'm sorry to say that ol' Devis is far the more handsome fellow, and with that sword of his, he really knows how to win any field of combat: physical, social or magical! ;)

Argh! I meant Hetfield, but then, I doubt Krusk would care. He always struck me as a Barry Manilow kinda guy.

And they look better in tights.

Strictly speaking, elves and gnomes should perhaps have favoured classes of ranger (think Legolas, for instance) or druid (a gnome morphing into an animal such as a badger and scurrying off seems more appropriate than any other race, and it's easy to envision them doing the whole "keep off the lawn" thing) but it seems that they've been re-envisioned as urbanites rather than fey.

If they had a favoured class, I reckon half-elves would get bard. They've got a hint of fey in their blood, and the ability to step through the lore of both races.

Whilst on the topic, for a bit of WHFRP colour, perhaps dwarves should have favoured class barbarian for that whole trollslayer thing...and half-orcs should perhaps have favoured class rogue to get back to their 1E assassin roots, and cut down a tad on the half-orc-barb-w/greatsword cliche.

I can vote for no man who has a mullet.
I think that's a fine addition to the paladins' code.

No following any leader with a porno mo either.

(However, lamb chops are acceptable...perhaps even encouraged.)

I vote Gimble - Devis has all the style of a crashed circus wagon. Lots of color and noise, but not something you'd want to look at in any detail. As for his 'points' that he was so accommodating to flaunt.. again:

I'm handsome and lanky.
Funny, I've heard most describe you as "narcissistic and sickly". Not entirely your fault, given your questionable parentage. The mullet on the other hand... the blame for that falls squarely on you, my good sir.
To give him credit, he does try to cover his unfortunate scent with any manner of grotesque perfumes and pomades.
Yes, a practice we all had hoped you'd pick up on eventually.

I am remarkably more able with any number of instruments and artistic expressions. My prodigious perform skill applies to all manner of song, instruments, and storytelling.
Quite true! Perhaps someday you'll attain some modicum of skill with one of them.
Glimble's applies only to one. Sad to say, he's chosen "Perform: mime."
An interesting choice, I'll admit. On the upside he would have an ability you would otherwise lack - in theory, he could inspire courage and what not, while silenced.

I am vastly more experienced.
Yes, the sheer number of questionably-looked barmaids with jealous husbands that want your head on a plate all can attest to that.
I've been a bard since day one, and have stood behind Mialee, Alhandra, Vadania, Naull, Ember, Lidda, and other beautiful women of adventure.
From their telling of it.. far.. far.. far behind.
And what has Thimble accomplished? Hmmm. I hear he's good at making shoes while the cobbler sleeps, but other than that, I must confess I'm at a loss.
Well, at least we're on familiar territory, there.

I'm sorry to say, old chap.. I think it's time you moved on. May I suggest you look for employment somewhere in the Descriptions chapter, perhaps? I'm sure Kendrick could give you a refrence.

Devis, all the way! I might consider using Gimble for a convenient doorstop - if I wanted a doorstop that could speak to burrowing mammals - but I think that's pretty much my only need for him. :D

No, I take that back. I would use him to check for traps, too.
