No Trouble at All
150:
Ure flies in, Lord Raimi leaps in front of him, brandishing his greatsword.
Ure slashes out with a claw* to easily grab Lord Raimi, who slashes his greatsword down to clang off of the dragon's scales impotently (33).
The two then grab and mangle and wrench at each other furiously (both get nat 20 for the grapple check!) and the larger dragon comes out on top doing an unimpressive 5 pts of damage in the process for all that wriggling. Lord Raimi has 45 hp left.

151**:
Lord Raimi's move at the top of 151. Both combatants are at 80n75e spread over a huge-sized space. Lord Raimi is grappled, not pinned.

* yes, grapples don't actually require a particular appendage, but this is a nominal claw for flavor. I hear grapple's getting a overhaul in 4e...

** So Lord Raimi resets his initiative to the count of Ure according to the SRD. His Dex is better than Ure, so he goes first in the next round since they have the same count.

First Post
OOC1: It was the right outcome anyway, but the ready action would cause Raimi to go first next round regardless of their initiative bonuses.

OOC2: Note that the damage dealt by the grapple was nonlethal by default (1d8+STR), not that it matters in the context of these short fights to an opponent without healing.

Lord Raimi tries to break out of the grapple, repeatedly. When successful, he steps northwest and then continues any remaining iterative attacks with his bastard sword.

151:
Lord Raimi struggles and fails, then wriggles and twists and almost succeeds (40 vs. 40) before failing on his third and final try of the round.

Ure's turn in 151
