The timing makes it pretty obvious that it was a reaction to the writers room of The Witcher being exposed as having writers that hated The Witcher IP by former Witcher writer and current head writer of X-Men 97'.

I'm not personally a fan of the Witcher, although the novels are on a to read list eventually and I own the OG Witcher (got it free as a promotion on steam), which I'll eventually try. Just for transparency sake.

But I don't have to be a Witcher fan to put myself in Henry's shoes, I'd be pissed.

If I was Netflix at this point I'd be searching for some new writers who ARE fans of the Witcher. Fans deserve it.
