Iggy awakes feeling calm and powerful. In his dreams he traveled the planes and consorted with various creatures, fire elementals included.
"No need to do excess climbing. Let's seem here..." Iggy moves as far out as possible and looks up the hill. He knows he can create an arcane eye anywhere he can see. If he can see above the hill, then he should be able to put an eye up there to see down on the top. If the angle of the slope prevents this, then he'll save his eye for later & advocate climbing to the top.

"OK." Iggy scratches the beard which has begun growing in his time in the wilderness. "I wasn't sure if it was worth it to continue for just a lake. But perhaps a lake is as likely a place to find our goal as a city. You've got to admit, a lake is not what you'd expect in a plane of fire."

You make your way up the remainder of the volcano without further confrontation, and it grows gradually cooler the higher you get. As you crest the rim, seeing a pleasant valley and a glacial lake, your heart lifts. You feel certain that a dip in the cool water will wash away the remaining fatigue.
