You could ask, but I'm not sure they'd have an answer to that question. I think the paramount+ show might be set in a different setting based on what was said about it.

I saw the last half. It was cute. The skeleton did a strong job of storytelling and seemed quite knowledgeable about D&D and the Realms.

The Corpses only answered in character questions, it was really more of a funny, somewhat improvised skit, with some chat particapation, then an actual Q&A, we learned more about the corpses in life then D&D.

I did LMFAO when Becca Scott said "I wish I had my own orifice", like that doesn't sound right. It was a really weird conversation were the word orifice got thrown around alot.
