Yeah, saw this preview too, it’s wild and long time fan of George Miller, looks awesome, it looks like a lot of money was spent on it, which is a shame cause this is gonna be a hard box office bomb, but still be awesome. The market for this movie is people like you, who don’t go see movies, so I hope they have plan to recoup costs outside box office.

Avengers (2012)- in IMAX- was the last thing I saw in a theater.

FWIW, I didn’t see Top Gun in theaters, either. In fact, I haven’t watched that one in one sitting. I’ve watched 85-100% of it in bits and pieces on local TV.
