Davaros second attack fells the Ogre.

Euon hurled a second mote of fire, this time at the lone remaining goblin.

The goblin dodges Euon's bolt.

Goblin and ogre fail to attack tree.

The ogre, completely dumbfounded and alone, attacks the tree, misses, then starts to flee.

Tree takes revenge on the last evil fire torch loving goblins.

Bell takes some shots at the fleeing ogre, as do others, and Davaros is able to run it down.

We are out of combat.

The tree speaks, "Thank you so much friends. I do not know what had driven those angry forest children to such devices, but they will bother the trees no-longer."

Still panting from the strenuous fighting, Davaros wipes the blood from his sword, tries to clean up a bit his wounds, and mounts Nameless. He says to the treant "Thank the gods of light and bounty we arrived in time to help you, father Lifferlas. Goldenfields seems to be swarming with attackers, and we are heading to the abbey, hoping to find reinforcements and perhaps safety. Will you join us, as you are in danger, all alone, and we can find strength in numbers?"

He signals to the others to get moving.

OOC: Not sure what the proper etiquette is for addressing a Treant. "Father" had a nice ring to it ;-)
