OOC: Assuming Karok wakes up from being cured.


Karok blinks awake as the healing magic infuses him. He stands up, hearing the commotion. He hadn't missed it.

He ran around the two horses, wanting to get into the fight but not wanting to deal with them anymore, and sees two men (B1 and B3) running into the night. He smiles, the winds swirling around him, his eyes flashing with light, lifting him off the ground as three bolts of ball lighting (magic missiles) fly from his fingertips, soaring through the sky towards the two men, who heading for one (b3) while the other flies unerringly towards the other (B1).

OOC: Action: Magic Missiles. B1's missile: [roll0]. B3's two missiles: [roll1] and [roll2].

Roaring in pain as strange magic suddenly surrounds him, beating him, hurting him, Ripnek gets angry. Focused.

The bugbear takes another stab at the unfortunate human who happened to closest to him as he charged in, hoping to end him before returning the favor.

Nert sneaks forward again, to get a shot off, seeing that all the closest enemies are engaged gives him a little courage and he start to think beyond saving his own hide. Seeing the fleeing humans he takes aim and looses an arrow at one of them. Missing he ducks back in to the darkness.

stealth: 1D20+5 = [4]+5 = 9

Attack and damage: 1D20+5 = [5]+5 = 10
1D6+3 = [4]+3 = 7


In the unlikely event that 9 stealth works.

attack advantage roll: 1D20+5 = [11]+5 = 16


Move: Forward as much as required to get a shot, then move back into the shadows with any remaining movement
Action: Attack the closest fleeing enemy
Bonus Action: Hide

Saashala bared her teeth at the man still next to her, and her fangs clearly showed as she hissed angrily at him...and spat! A spray of yellowish, greenish goo spattered over his face...

(Poison Spray; DC 13 Constitution save or [roll0] poison damage)

Nert takes aim at B3. However B3 sees the shot coming, and is able to zig-zag out of the way.


Meanwhile Ripnek and Saashala team up on B5, with Ripnek acting out his name and Saashala making sure the poor guy can't even gasp a final breath. B5 seems to see what's coming a moment before it happens -- his eyes narrow and he determinedly gets one last shot off at Moon Moon before his demise. In vain. Forewarned doesn't grant better aim, it would seem.


B1 turns the corner, and finding at least one horse left, yanks a lead, pulling the stake out of the ground. He throws himself onto the horse.

The horse, not very happy with this, immediately tries to throw him off. And...


...B1 is hurled to the ground.

Moon Moon jumps down next to Karok and touches his forehead, healing him back to consciousness. Karok lifts himself to his feet and then into the air, striking B1 and B3 with lightning balls. B3 is also knocked off his feet and hurled to the ground. B1 is already prone, though he seems to writhe under the magical assault so he's probably not out of it yet.

Drutha stands and swings her glaive at B2, but doesn't manage to connect. B2 drops his crossbow and pulls a scimitar, swinging back at Drutha and narrowly hitting. The scimitar bites in, and it's enough to put her down, bleeding.

OOC: Swing at Drutha: 1D20+3 = [15]+3 = 18
Scimitar damage: 1D6+1 = [6]+1 = 7

Having used a Search action last round to find her, I'm not rolling his attack with Disadvantage as he'd normally have in the darkness.

B2 then calls out victoriously, "All right, I got it!" Upon observing the lack of congratulations, he looks around wildly in the dark, and his voice turns uncertain. "Uh... guys?"

Drutha, please make a Death save for round 6.

(Karok, though you may describe the Magic Missile damage as lightning or whatever you like, for the record it still does Force damage.)

Ripnek nods appreciatively at Sashaala as the man between them drops to the ground dead. Licking a bit of blood off his blade, the bugbear quickly moves towards the only visible living foe, stabbing with the bloodstained sword he just killed the man's ally with.

Damage: [roll1]
Is he distracted enough for a sneak attack? If so: [roll2]

Nert continues to duck in and out of the shadows, trying to remain unseen and loosing arrows at the closest enemies. He starts to move with some purpose east towards where some of the humans fled.

Stealth: 1D20+5 = [10]+5 = 15

1D6+3 = [5]+3 = 8

Possible advantage on attack roll: 1D20+5 = [16]+5 = 21

Move: East toward where the horses were tethered.
