"Those things are insidious," says Garrison, falling to his knees and opening up his throat so he can breath a bit easier.
"How are our colleagues doing? Can we pause for a moment so we can catch our breath?"

(with 2 down, can we take a short rest before looking for more trouble?)

After some time, Maighan returns to consciousness. Bleary and in pain, but alive. She sees the rest of the group tending to their own wounds, and finds a shaded spot to drag herself to and do the same.

The air is eerily calm after the excitement of the battle, as each of you retreat to your own corner to lick your wounds. The dirty gnome and one of your guides still remain petrified after being bitten by the cockatrice, who lies in a headless heap nearby.

The silence is interrupted by the cries of your horses, struggling against the reins of your overturned wagon.

OOC: Haven't seen anything from Phoenix8008 in quite some time, so we'll carry on as a party of five until his return. I'll continue to NPC J'hanna for a while, unless it becomes evident that pathfinderq1 isn't coming back. Hopefully that will not be the case.

In any case, you have your own overturned cart (which contains the casket) to deal with, and there's Mortimer Montri's wagon as well, full of all kinds of junk. Then you have the two petrified people to deal with.

Once he's caught his breath.the swelling in Garrison's throat fro the insect bite seems to subside. He's uncomfortable, but no longer gasping for air as he had been. He stands, and looks to the horses. "Can anyone give me a hand with these beasts?" he asks. But sets to releasing them from the cart to alleviate their discomfort.

OOC: Handle animal [roll0]. If there's someone who can help, and it's with advantage, then the best of that roll or [roll1].
