“So there they are,” Blitz says, once the group has been pointed out to her.

“Why don't we head over and say hello? Hopefully they can understand us... what do you think?”

Some of these are the same voices heard on the cliff from before (at the volcano). Some of the voices are new. You cannot understand the language of the new voices.

The voices you heard on the cliff are discussing what to do with the "survivors" and also where the "villains who did this" might be hiding.

Optic tries to get a better view of the group, to see if he can recognize them or determine anything about them.

OOC: With extended vision they're the equivalent of 150 feet away, so with skill mastery Optic has a 15 perception check(Counting distance penalties), combined with x-ray to see through any cover.

"It's definitely some of the same voices I heard before, but with a lot of new voices talking something I've never heard before," the sonic hero confirms.

"We might be lucky, though. The people speaking English are talking about villains, which should hopefully mean they aren't some."

"It does raise questions though," Echo points out. "There's no one in the village now. If they were driven off, it seems safe for them to return. Why don't they? It's possible that these 'villains' they're talking about are among them right now and just aren't talking. They could be captives, not refugees. If so, we need to be more careful in our approach, or they could become hostages as well."

Optic is pretty sure that there are four members of the Atomic League standing amongst three dozen "aliens" dressed in very basic clothing. Most of the aliens appear to be injured. Their injuries appear to be severe burns.

OOC: The Atomic League is a team of radiation-powered heroes that are pretty standoffish when it comes to other heroes. You know them mostly by reputation.

"Looks like the atomic league! I would suggest Blitz heads over to confirm and then informs them we are on our way." Optic looks for another few seconds "It would appear that the locals they are travelling with are injured - Burns."

OOC: Optic's worked with the League before, as noted in his background he's one of the few heroes who's on good terms with them b/c he doesn't share the silly mistrust of nuclear power that most people have.
