Invasion of Mori - IC [3.5][CE/NE][planar]

Voadam

Legend
The sheer number of wounds on the troll is impressive but he seems to be more focused on licking the kobold blood running down his chin. He continues his assault with enthusiasm.

Rose dances nimbly around more, and more blood flies. But this time, once done, his dance brings him as close as possible to Pyre. The tiefling spits some blood and shouts, "Hey flaming band-aid, I've been flaming poisoned!"

[sblock=OOC]Given my somewhat imprecise notions of distance in this battle, feel free to use your own discretion. Basically, Rose is going to smack as much as he can, but end his dance close to the cleric.

Vedak grumbles a few curses as his spell does not have any effect. He tries to think of anything useful he could do and decides that he might as well cast Blindness/Deafness on one of the Sorcs, hoping to blind the little bugger.

DC 21 for Blindness/Deafness

Kelteror smiles when he finally sees the Kobolt mage. He'll run up to him, jump & power attack hum using his guisarme, combining a charge & jump, hoping to chop him in two.

Charge action:
You get a +2 bonus on the attack roll and take a -2 penalty to your AC until the start of your next turn; x3 power attack damage (from leap attack)

Telepathy 100 ft
See invisibility (SLA at will, always renewed)

Spell-Like Abilities, at will: darkness, dispel magic, see invisibility, greater teleport (self plus 50 pounds of objects only). Caster level 7th.

Sneak Attack (Ex): 2d6

Protective Slime (Su): A slimy red jelly coats the babau’s skin. Any weapon that touches it takes 1d8 points of acid damage from the corrosive goo, and the weapon’s hardness does not reduce this damage. A magic weapon may attempt a DC 18 Reflex save to avoid taking this damage. A creature who strikes the babau with an unarmed attack, unarmed strike, touch spell, or natural weapon takes this damage as well but can negate the damage with a DC 18 Reflex save. The save DCs are Constitution-based.

Pyre grubled slightly as he realized that all of these creatures vastly surpassed him in power. He did move forward and lay a hand on Rose, and again poured healing magiks into the tiefling.
((Move closer to rose if neccesary, Cast another spontaneous cure moderate wounds, 2d8+5))

Can someone dispel these mage's invisibility? Loriel's telepathic voice inquires dryly. If we let them keep peppering us like this, the results will be very embarrassing.

Even as she raises the question of dispelling, the succubus fades back into the background and vanishes from sight. Invisibly, she creeps towards the place her crossbow arrow struck its target and readies her rapier.

(Invis as standard, Move Silently +18 to get near the spot her crossbow target was standing.)

Gabriel curses internally that some of his best efforts are being wasted by the incompetent fools around him. He casts his eyes over the battlefield and picks out a kobold a bit to the side and gestures to him, murmuring arcane mutterings.

OOC: Casting dominate person on any visible kobold within 60 ft. Preferably one that's not in the midst of going to die. I'd like to get one that's just out of reach of our fighters. DC is 23. If he fails his save, Gabriel tells him telepathically, in Draconic, the following:

Find the kobold wizard and kill him!

Then Gabriel is going to sidestep about twenty feet to his right, taking him out of the knot of spellcasters.

OOC : Sorry folks, been away for a couple of days.

IC : The maug retreats back to the stairwell, visibly damaged by both the fireballs and the scorpion's final attacks before it died. There appears to be cracks running through the construct. It remarks to the group at the stairwell in passing, "I am too damaged to continue this encounter, unless anyone has spells to repair the damage i have taken."

(Put me behind the group, at the stairwell)

As you wish, the wizard thinks as Loriel's words echo in his mind. He considers that his dispelling magic might be needed later, but such eventualities are what scrolls are for. He targets the magic at the spot where the last fireball came from. Surely my arcana can overcome a mewling scaled beast's--they are vermin even by mortal standards.
