is the H in IMHO actually Humble?

I've been told it's humble. I have enough trouble following some of these appreviations (I once thought LOL was lots of luck)

When I say it, it means Humble, Honest, Honorable, Heroic,

When others use it, it means Horrible, Horricific, Hack-neyed, Hyppocritical, Hokey.

At least in IMHO

Really, I always thought it meant I May Hurt Myself.

I was thought it was honest or humble. I usually just spell out the words myself but I'm old fashion.

I've heard that it means Honest and Humble at different times, so I guess it really depends on who is using it. Since many of the opinions don't seem humble, I usually presume it means honest.

Never heard it as honest before. Might try reading it as that and seeing if it stops bugging me when people use it. Prefer the straight IMO myself.
