Buckthorn steps up and shoots at the swarm. His shots are solid, and while the damage versus the swarm is limited (52 before any resistance)...its still enough to split it into two!

Proximity to the swarms remains a bad thing (20 damage vs Allowyn and Leandre, 10 vs Forge). As does more swarms, as another one animates.

The split swarm misses the cat (badly) then just hits it, until the Warlord calls out at just the right moment, annulling the attack and giving the cat a counter (you can roll). The attack of the new swarm is not annulled, and does hit, knocking the cat prone into the cursed bones and weapons, inflicting more damage (-41 HP).

Keep going.

Allowyn -42hp, -2 HS/ AP, slash and press, bolstering insight/ radiant orb x 2, acid orb, helm

Buckthorn (total) 109 hp, -2 HS / thundertusk/ trick

Forge -28 HP -6HS, /reactive surge, 2nd wind /cloak

Leandre (total) 69hp, -6HS, prone, bloodied /roar

Simorai -0hp, -5 HS, /dim. Vortex, bor conf., thnd vortex, AP
/ smoke bottle

Forge bashes the two swarms next to him (bash and pummel 36 and 42 to hit for 18 and 26 damage respectively, plus dazed till end of forge's next turn if hit. He'll then action point and do arm's master challenge striking at the two next to him and marking the third one as well (38 and 44 to hit, 29 and 30 damage respectively). Then he'll minor to trigger sheilded sides so plus two ac and reflex and no combat advantage for flanking. He's got his shield edge block ready as an IR and if he drops anything he'll use his free attack from the axe property.

Action point gives 14 hp but failed the save if there is anything bad that happens as a result of this healing.

Forge, you launch your flurry of attacks and do some damage, as well as leaving one animated mass of metal dazed and confused.

You also have the healing curse: ongoing necrotic 15 (or 6...save +2 ends).

As the Ever Present Escort (IR) when the Cat is hit from the other swarm, Sim will teleport next to the Cat and possibly negating the hit (+4 AC until the end Sim’s next turn).
On his turn, Sim marks the top left one with his Aegis. Sim thinks he was able to position himself on the teleport to reach all three swarms with SwordBurst (starting top left and around clockwise: 43, fumble and 30 vs REF – 31 damage). He will use Insightful Riposte (+3) on the 30 but only if he gets bonus to hit for being next to the Cat (as he doesn’t think a 33 would hit anyway). He pushes the top left one NW one square. He then shifts down one (+1 AC and REF).

The cat is still hit (thanks to the rubble inducing combat advantage against the living) and Sim seems to get one hit and the movement. (next to cat bonus unclear...).

Buckthorn

Buckthorn will name the two swarms closest to him as his quarry (the two split swarms). He will shoot at the split swarm closest to him using Twin Strike.

First arrow (37) to hit (16 Damage).

Second arrow is a critical. (43 damage). If one arrow were to take down a swarm, Buckthorn would fire at the next swarm.

Sim uses insightful riposte, and should (barely) hit with it.

EDIT: The ranger hits the swarms, but their swarminess continues to mute the impact of his attacks.
