Evelyn nods in a patronizing fashion and then kneels down close to Klarg's head.

"Sure. Powder, bones. Got it. But first lets talk about the dwarf. He was on the trail with the human and your goblins took him prisoner. And then handed him off to someone. We need the dwarf, and it's up to you how we get the information out of you. Brother Lantern here..." she gestures at the priest, "was nice enough to patch you up after my sword nearly split you in two. He'd hate to see us have to put all his work to waste. So how about you make yourself useful, tell us where the dwarf was taken and why, and then we can get on with the bone powdering later."

 

[Charwoman Gene]

(Doing a little speed interrogation...)

"You cannot stop the Cragmaw Clan!! Klarg sent dwarf to King Grol in Cragmaw Castle. Grol had ordered Klarg and his minions to get dwarf and send to castle for the Black Spider."
You poke at him a little more and he continues, "Cragmaw Castle is 20 miles northeast of here in the Neverwinter Woods."
You ask who the Black Spider is, he grumbles, "Klarg does not know, but King Grol does."

Evelyn listens to Klarg's explanations, but keeps her thoughts to herself for now. No reason to share anything in front of the bugbear. But 20 miles through unfamiliar wilderness teeming with the minions of this King Grol... and possibly a giant spider? She frowns slightly as she considers their path forward. Escort Sildar and the supplies to Phandelin first, Gundren will have to wait, it seems.
