Now wait a minute . . . Everyone *knows* the Battleship is broken. I mean, that's class progression at its worst! I never understood why anyone would let that PrC in a game. I mean, even compared to the Clothes Iron, it's a no-brainer. The Battleship always steals the show, no matter how hard the other classes try.

People keep forgetting that the battleship is balanced by its -2 modifier to Free Parking. That's a MAJOR deal in later stages of the game.

I was really impressed with Complete Railroads and Complete Power Utilities. The Expanded Community Chest was not what I had expected, though, and I really felt like I wasted my money. YMMV.

I like some of the stuff from Complete Railroads, but all the plotting suggestions just seemed way too linear...

 Nice point.

And, yes, I agree. It's as though the designers were sitting around tossing out almost any product idea, no matter how stupid, to generate more money. ... REAL money, mind you.

(shudder) Can you imagine them blending classic Monopoly tokens with the Heroclix(tm) concept? I can almost see that happening.

Just out of question ,your BM dosn't like the green properties, what happens when you get to North Carolina avenue? I mean, I just can't see how the game could function without the $1,275 rent with a hotel on it...

HELP! Where do you fit North Carolina Avenue in Grayhawk?

I've fixed all these rules and more - pick up my new Monopoly d20 system book Free Parking - A Ride On The Wild Side available at the ENWorld store now.

Oh and as for the optional Clue d20 class rules - I prefer the Noose PrC - it really ropes you in. Of course the Candlestick PrC really lightens the mood. :D

I noted a few violations of the OML in that book, especially in your Section 15. You need to list Complete Iron's Handbook, and Complete Power Utilities isn't Open, so your "Beauty Contest" Feat is kind of illegal.

Ugh, I hate genre mixing! :uhoh: Next thing you know you'll be telling me you have Gumdrop Mountains as a power location!

If you Play Monopoly D20 Modern......

I'd stay away from the Street Walker PrC and invest in Casinos rather than Hotels.
And go with Strip Clubs over Houses. They bring in a lot more money. And the Julie Bell Card Art makes it all worth it.

And by and Large all the Subway Rail Properties are just a little bit icky.

And "The Donald" Prestige Class is WAAAYYYY too powerful. I mean the class only has 2 Drawbacks, The "Ivana Trump Card" and the "Falcon mistakes your Hairpiece for a rabbit Card"

You should try what our group did. Get a woman to run the game. The BankMaster Woman, or BMW, if you prefer really improved the game. The BMW handles great, gets good mileage (of course YMMV) and is easy on the eyes!

I suppose nobody else has heard of the Bishop PrC? It's from an obscure d20 supplement... I can't remember who published it. Anyway, either that or the Queen PrC from the same book will be fine. I think you get free access to green properties with the Queen, but I'm not sure.

Anyone have a copy who's willing to chime in?
