And when a creature is enlarged he gains extra reach and his weapon grows with him, correct?
So, a large creature with monkey grip is enlarged, they would have a 20ft reach?

No. You can wield a bigger weapon, but you yourself are still the same size, and your reach doesn't change.

Actually, if you take Monkey Grip with a Reach weapon, you should increase your reach. A Large Glaive has a 10' Reach, instead of the 5' the Medium version would have (PHB3.5, pg112). If Enlarge Person is cast on you, you become Large and get a 10' Reach, and the Glaive goes to Huge and gets a 15' Reach. Its one of the few things that makes Monkey Grip cool.

Yes indeed, you can spend a feat to get a 2d3 weapon that has a -2 penalty to hit and is easy to disarm.

Not exactly breath taking.

Be an Illithid Body Tamer with a set of tentacle extensions and the Extend Reach (think that's the name) feat from Savage Species.

20' inclusive reach, without even touching Expansion.

Heh... of course, that might not be an available option for a character, so take that as you will.

Yeah, use Expansion instead of Enlarge Person, Expansion can be used to increase two size categories.
