Ederaul Mamier meets the Queen of Hearts?

Raul glances around to get his bearings. Teleporting always takes a few seconds to get used to.

He can feel his ears burning as the blush flows outwards. He's been so busy with work that flirtatous words from a woman, an elven woman no less, seem like a lifetime away. Having died recently, it has been a lifetime away. Raul takes a deep breath and hopes his suntan covers the blush. He runs his hand through his short-cropped hair to straighten it before reaching out to open the door.

As the door swings open, Raul focuses his ki on his purpose and strides into the room to meet Professor Mirisa Brightbloom. "Professor Brightbloom?"

LCA - Raul - Professor Brightbloom

Raul enters and sees Professor Brightbloom just as she pulls on her blouse. He just gets a flash of two of the largest globes he's ever seen on an elf (he didn't know that 'optional equipment' was available on the Elvish form!) "Yes, come in Constable," she says, causing Raul to surmise that word does, indeed, travel very fast here at the LCA. "Let's see, you were wanting some enchantment work, I believe? May I see the item in question?" Raul explains what he wants and shows her the item and the complete proposal that he has for her. (I'm assuming that you have already bought a high quality item to receive the enchantment, right?) Her inspection complete, Professor Brightbloom says, "Yes, we can work with this, but, ahh, the price you offer is not quite up to what I usually ask for such a thing," she coyly bats here eyes at Raul. "Tell you what -- I'll do as you wish, if you'll accompany me on an evening out on the town?"

She knew that I would be entering as she dressed, thought Raul. That's a come on if there ever was one. WOW! What a babe! I wonder what she wants from me?

Raul blushes again as the professor asks for him to accompany her out on the town. So much for keeping my cool! So that's what she wants... "I would be delighted to escort you wherever you want to go. While the Fall Festival is keeping the constabulary busy all over the city, I should be able to get free. When should I present myself? Dress uniform or...." Raul waits for his orders.

LCA - Raul - Professor Brightbloom

"Excellent! No time like the present, as they say, how about this evening? I have no real preference as to where we go, perhaps you have a favorite place? Just swing back by here about dusk and we'll find something to amuse ourselves, I feel certain."

"Oh, and I'll leave instructions to have you escorted right up when you arrive, so you won't have to go through all that rigamarole again."

OOC: Put on your sheet that you've bought what you want at the price you said before. It will be ready for pick-up tomorrow afternoon. Do you want to continue with your "tryst" here, or back in the main thread? I guess here might be better?

Ederaul Mamier and the hunt for red october wine bar

Raul smiles and says, "I'll be back at dusk for our adventure. Until this evening." Raul starts to leave and then stops, shrugging his shoulders, "I just realized that I don't know how to leave. I was teleported to your door."

OOC: Raul's plan is to leave the LCA and go directly to the 10th Ward to find a cozy wine bar for their date. He's not going back to Maddie's with this one, at least not yet. It will be a tight schedule. Find a wine bar, back to get ready, and then return to the LCA by dusk.

OOC: I have been assuming that this is all during the several weeks off from active role play in the main thread. I'm waiting for this to work out before I mention anything in the main thread.

LCA - Raul - Professor Brightbloom

Raul smiles and says, "I'll be back at dusk for our adventure. Until this evening." Raul starts to leave and then stops, shrugging his shoulders, "I just realized that I don't know how to leave. I was teleported to your door."

"Of course, just go back to the staircase at the end of the hall to your left, and I'll take care of it. Until tonight, Handsome!" The Professor lightly kisses Raul on the cheek.

Raul follows directions, but he never makes it to the end of the hall. About halfway there,he suddenly finds himself back in the first room he was in when he first entered.

When he gets to the Tenth, Raul sees several restaurants. He rejects the 'party bars' and the 'McDonaldses' and finds a nice, cozy bistro that's not on a main street and has an intimate appeal. [OOC: Feel free to name it, or not, as you see fit.] They have a nice menu in the Southeastern Silvertree tradition, lots of pasta and good wine. This takes him about an hour, what with the travel and searching, and he is back in the 14th by 3:30. Dusk should be about 6:00.

Ederaul Mamier and the Ruin Ronyo Bistro

Raul likes the Ruin Ronyo (mixed elvish for "red flame fox") Bistro in the 10th Ward, so he asks the hostess to reserve a corner table and fine bottles of red and white wine for the evening. He leaves two gold coins as a deposit.

Hurrying back to the 14th, Raul showers, shaves, and puts on his dress uniform with only his badge, his truncheon, some hidden shuriken, his usual magic items, and some coins for dinner, beggars, transport, etc. Raul checks his boots for polish and his breath for mintiness before leaving.

Raul tries to make it to the LCA a little early. He wants to stroll slowly and make it to the entrance just before dusk, around 5:45pm.

LCA - Raul - Professor Brightbloom

Raul is on time, and Mirisa is ready when you arrive. It's a beautiful evening and you have a beautiful time. Mirisa looks absolutely stunning, too.

OOC: We can continue this if you like (with as many gory details as you can handle -- or that I can handle), or we can just assume the evening went splendidly and get back to the action of the game, just let me know.

OOC: How far is Raul going to try to get with Mirisa, hmmmm???? Remember, Scotley is her Daddy!

OOC: Raul wants the Professor to have a good time and let off a little steam. He wants to learn 3 things about her: favorite color, favorite flowers, and favorite wine.

Raul will leave her wanting more. The next day, Raul will try to find her favorite flowers and send her some, if he can.

LCA - Raul - Professor Brightbloom

Favorite color(s) = she likes colors found in nature, like a good little elf, but she's partial to yellow, too. So yellow, green, and earth tones are all safe bets.

Favorite flower = daffodil/jonquil (you're going to play very hell finding these in Lauralie Summerhome!)

Favorite wine = pinot noir (she's an odd duck, what?)

Raul now has a +3 on reaction rolls when dealing with any npc from the LCA (Mirisa B. was favorably impressed!).
