OOC: Continuing defensive wall tactics. Defensive Wall: Your army fights defensively, taking actions to protect fellow units as needed. Decrease its OM by 2, and increase its DV by 2. _: 1D20 = [17] = 17

Denir continues to have the paladins fight with a strong shield wall, holding the line and repelling the advance. As his friends continue to harry the larger demons in the back with spells and arrows, Denir anchor's the front line making sure it doesn't break. Hopefully his friends will drop one of the leaders and their morale will drop and the demons will break.

The tactics of the heroes seem to be working. These are the weakest and most cowardly of Demonkind. As Thorn and 'Keva focus on the best and sneakiest of their number the tide of battle begins to turn in favor of the Paladins. Soon the demons are in complete disarray. Even the finely disciplined Paladins can't help breaking rank to bring down more of their hated foes when the targets are so easy to pick off. The battle begins to break into smaller and smaller pockets of fighting. Soon Thorn sees that the Shadowy leader she was chasing has indeed been chasing her, but Meliara crosses his path first. Thorn sees him moving up behind her. 'Keva catches sight as well. A signal man standing with Denir spots it as well in the flicering light of a ruined building set alight by one of the many spells tossed about this night and informs him.

OOC: Initiative for all. Meliara is 10' away with her back turned unaware. Thorn is 30' away. 'Keva 60' away. Denir 100'. Anyone else still with us roll perception as well as initiative.
