Right, CPs cost him 2:1, no big deal, he's got 10 levels unspent worth of CPs :)

And he'll check at the Accademy. It shouldn't be TOO hard, since someone had to be able to craft the rings in the first place.

Why is craft ring so expensive to get?
Right, and he still can only pay for half of the CP that way--Tenebrynn still has to pay the other half of the CP costs.

EDIT: Forge Ring requires Caster Level 12. Very few people in the Academy are 12+, and of those, there may be perhaps at most 1 who actually took the feat, and whoever that is probably doesn't feel like spending a few days on Vanitri's ring (and may require extra pay beyond the standard price due to the feat's rarity).

rings suck just based on the level requirements.

Yup then he can contribute to Tenebrynn's Blessed Book to pay back those half cp cost T spent on those items V wants.

Done :)

Part of me wants to up the enhancement on my cloak to +2, but that might be pushing it. (another 1,650, and 120 XP), and it's nice to have some money around.

That's true. In that case, Vanitri has paid the price in full for CP and only owes Tenebrynn 400 GP after the two scrolls for lingering XP costs. So Bront, you can give yourself back a bit of cash for that.

That why was a metagame question, not an in game question.

Only 400? He had said 910?

For adding spells to a spellbook, do you need to pay full cost for a scroll? or can you just pay someone casting cost to let them study it from their book?
Unless you're jonesing for Necromancy, which was your restreicted school anyway, I think, if you want a spell from level 1 to 3, Elektra has a Blessed Book with a large number of spells in it (they are not currently listed anywhere, but she has copied most of them from friends and books and such). She will offer you free copying, or you can just save your own pages and CP and prepare off of hers if you want. If you decide to give a discount to Vanitri for this since she's his cohort, she won't mind that either.
