"Well I guess you all want some answers," Freddy looks to everyone for the first time seeming to notice your pesences in his office. "True my uncle had, had, some bad dealings with the Red Wizards. His sister was recruited to Join there ranks, to which he forbade her, fore he thought they were just using here to get to him. He was right of course, wise old man he was. Well it turns out the only reason she was taking part in the Wizards, Fez found out, was that she had lost her will to another. She was being used in very bad things. She was the face of the darker side of Thay and all of there dealings for almost a year until Fez stopped it. Unfortunately however she died while he was trying to save her. I thought all that had been settled long ago tho, because he was coming here to help me in the mines. Recently something bad has infected the miners and turned them into something closely resembling a walking zombie."

"Thats ridiculous, no one would want to be a zombie, they have no blood, and no blood means no life." The deeps gnome dagger is at the edge of his skin once again, enjoying the sensation but not letting any blood.

Cara rolls her eyes as shge looks over to Mirnx. "You will have to excuse my companion. He's as little out there, if you know what I mean." Looking back at Freddy she says "Did your uncle bring us here to avenge his sisters death or free theminers of their curse?"

"As far as I knew, he was just looking for an escort here. He was going to try and help me with what trainees I had left when he got here, unfortunately they could not wait, and went in already." Freddy looks at the floor in remembrance and shakes his head slightly. "So as far as I know you are all free to go but I could sure use your help."

Mirnx can't seem to sit still as Teddy explains the situation at hand. "Hmmm, mines you say, well this sun is becoming a bit of a bother to me so I suppose I would be willing to help you with these zombies. Who knows I guess I can find out if zombies do bleed, I hope they do" Mirnx hops across the room to Teddy and extends a hand in agreement. "Oh and Im sure I speak for everyone here, I think we made me the leader when your uncle died, they did give me his super neat wand." The deep gnome begins waving the useless wand around quite enjoying himself.

Justiel extends his hand to Teddy. I also will help. The undead hold no fear in my heart and I would be lapse in my duities if I let innocents come to harm.

When Mirnx isnt looking at Cara, she attempts to swipe the wand from his hand. "You? Leader? Very unlikely!!" She says with a laugh. Turning back to Teddy she says "I will also join in stopping whatever is going on here."

Ahh, yes. Seres chuckles deeply All hail lord Mirnx,may his blood flow freely and his glory never fade.

He shakes his head wrily and turns to Freddy. Enough of this foolishness. We are going down into the mines, we may even save those lost pupils of yours. That is a worthy cause, and hopefully also one that will make us greater in power and skill. For the Swirfneblin is correct in one thing; the path of power is blood and death (even if our enemies are both dead and bloodless). We will save this town of yours, and yes we will be the greater for it, if we survive. However, we are taking a great risk and sacrificing a great deal of our valuable time and labour. It has always been my policy to request payment for the services I provide. Someone, he smiles, will pay for this. He looks around at the group.We should speak to whoever is in charge, whoever has the means to pay us. And who would that be Freddy?
