Sorry one more thing [MENTION=6814006]Thateous[/MENTION]... I am assuming your second attack in the round is from your Pole-Arm Mastery. That damage should be a d4 not a d10, and I don't remember if you are suppose to get your Strength bonus with your off-hand (see Two Weapon attack).

He still gets the damage mod, so it's dead anyway. (Had 14 hp, he hit for 11 with the first attack, butt-end attack is d4 + 3, so the roll is moot.)

Yes. It's slightly different form two weapon fighting. My mistake on the damage however. Since it is dead, I do receive 4 temp hp.
