What (D&D/D20) adventures would/will you run for Halloween?

Man! Wish I could afford to drive up to Phoenix; I'd ask if I could join that one!

Actually my friend from Phoenix is picking me up at my house so we can get up to Wickenburg. It would be awesome to have you along, but I'm guessing that Wickenburg is a little more out of your league.

Yep. I am pretty much literally in the S/E corner of our state. Just north of Douglas. 5+ hours from the Phoenix area.

I ran back to-back weekends of celebrating Halloween adventures. First weekend the party journeyed to a tiny town known as Forge Hollow. Seems there was a legendary headless horseman who terrorized townsfolk and visitors alike. The party heard of that legend and had a major battle on the town's covered bridge with the titular baddie. The party was in town at the request of an NPC friend who wanted the party to discover why the town's chirugeon was acting so weird lately and his patients seemed to be dieing at an alarming rate.

Turns out the good Dr. Von Brekow had gone mad and was using parts to create Von Brekow's monster (another classic story).

Note, that I warned my players beforehand that I'd be weaving some classic horror plots into the campaign and that their suspension of disbelief would have to be a bit elevated. Everyone understood and looked forward to which story they'd be part of.

The second weekend involved a request from the King to find his missing regalia. He had commisioned a staff, a mantle, and a set of ceremonial armor be made at a nearby town renown for its artisans. The set was late and no word from the town. The party investigates only to discover a 'Night of the Living Dead' scene played out before them. The party had to find the missing stuff, kill the zombies (dozens and dozens of them - Thanks minion rules!), escort wounded NPCs out of the town, and finally discover the source of the zombies and shut it down. Easily turned out to be one of the most enjoyable sessions I've run in years, both for me and my players..feedback was very positive.

If there is any interest I can post the stats on my custom horseman.
