Vagabond conversion

Has anyone done a template/ creature creation for the Vagabond?

There had been a thread awhile back discussing the conversion of the vagabond. I will post the two options we had come up with in the Homebrews forum.

There is a shocker in Return to the Temple of Elemental Evil, but guess it is not the same one.

Rust Dragon

There is a rust dragon in Dragon #300.

any way you could compare those to the old monsters? there were two very different sets of stats for the shockers in 1E and early 2E, so when planescape came around they were separated into two wholly different creatures. i knew there was a version in rtttoh, but which one(s)?

as for the rust dragon stats, i knew of them in dragon 300, but i haven't seen them.

But if you can post a fundamental difference between them or two, I think I can guess which is in the RttToEE.

Here's a summary of the RTTTOEE version of the shocker:

Shocker:
Medium-Size Outsider, CR3, 3 HD, SA electricity, shocking discharge.

"Shockers come from some strange, otherworldly place of lightning and electricity. Their motivations seem very mysterious, but they exhibit a very weak sense of self preservation from a human's point of view."

"They appear to be sparkling blue humanoids made entirely of electrical energy."
