Depends on waht you mean by "best."

Complete Adventurer is the most creative.

However, I voted Complete Warrior because it adds the most to the game. The PRCs and feats are often bland, but their existance is absolutely necessary for the existance of effective specialist fighters. IME, the basic fighter is just too much of a generalist compared to people's CONCEPTS of fighters they want to play. Prestige-classes that make you mounted knight guy, archer guy, or TWF-guy, flying mounted guy, exotic weapon guy, thrown weapon guy, knife fighter guy etc might not be that origional, but its important that fighters have those options.

Divine options are just so world-dependent, I think.
No it's not really that, as I consider the chapter on Gods and Relics the best in the book.

A few feats are nice, 2 or so prestige classes caught my eye, and a few spells really don't make the book worth its price.

I feel that CW is the best anyone can use the info in there do to d&d's combat heavy emphasis, then CA because there are a lot of options and it relates to every character.

I find that while everyone can use the above two it is very hard for say a fighter to use much out of CA.

Heh. Didn't we have this a poll just a few weeks ago? :)

I rank them, from most useful to least: Adventurer > Warrior > Arcane > Divine

In order (sort of):
Complete Adventurer - most flexible of the books, lots of stuff that I might use, not too much 'useless crap' or campaign specific stuff. And what there was that was Greyhawk tainted could be fixed.

Complete Warrior, again flexible.

Complete Divine and Complete Arcane... I liked Arcane better, but put it back on the shelf - way too much attention to the Wu Jen, a class that I am never going to use. I disliked Divine more, but it contained more that I would use, should I ever pick up either of these two I would get divine first for that reason. And complain about it. :p

The Auld Grump - It is better to light a single candle and to curse the darkness.

Aw for crying out loud.

Look at the poll results, and then guess which one of the Complete books I have bought so far. :\

Complete Adventurer, with Complete Warrior a close second.

Hmm, just like the poll at this point... in fact, I rank Arcane third and Divine fourth, and that's what the poll says at this point... interesting.

I am tied between Warrior and Adventurer.

I have use of all of 'em..but rehashing stuff tends to get annoying. I saw a lot of that in Arcane and Divine.

None of the above.

THey are complete. Complete and utter useless PoS.

I'm waiting for the Complete Idiot's Guide to d02 Roleplaying.
