Who are your favorite Demon Lords?

I always liked Graz'zt the most. I thought there could be interesting complications with the addition of his sister Rhyxali too.

For most of those, they're little more than footnotes; names, layer number, and maybe a title of some kind. It's hard to like an element that you know next to nothing about.

True. I come from a 1st ed background, so that was frequently all we had to run with...heck...we usually just had a name and hoped that they got the listing right that it was a demon and not some other fiend.

Still, many names I ran with...some just ooze richness from the name alone.

When Planescape came along I realized I had to start keeping track of everyone. Planescape, such a closed (yet open) setting, lends itself to political games. I had to keep massive notes on everyone.....Wiki's have really helped with my documenting. I love all the name wikis such as the Named Demon Project. It makes my job so much easier....

As a side note....FC1 and the (paper Dragon Magazine) Demonomicon of Iggwilv articles really expanded my use of some of the more bestial demon lords.

Happy to spread the news about the Name Projects. When one gives a name to an outsider, that name has the possibility of living forever.

offtopic> Agreed about the need for a comprehensive site. I think WotC would like Gleemax to be such a site, but if they are going to do that they really need to put in the tools to let the user base grow the site.

Admittedly I like Demogorgon, but I have to wonder if Savage Tide Adventure Path did caused him to have the most votes above...
