Who puts a sandwich in the 'fridge?

I put any sub sandwich that has oil and vinegar on it in the fridge for a while. The whole point of o&v on a sandwich is, as dannyalcatraz says, a mini-marinade. The acid in the vinegar breaks down other elements of the sammy, releasing flavor that is then convieniently suspended in the oil. Mmmm, good!

OK, for you deviants (kidding) that put sandwiches in the fridge - do you contain them in something? waxpaper, plastic wrap, tupperware, baggy, lead lined box? Or do you just leave them sitting there on a plate?

Nothing ... I just leave the sandwiches as they are. Same thing with the tomato-cuke, etc. salad. Deeelishass!

Edit: Perhaps I should be more specific. I leave the sandwich on the plate and leave the veg salad in the bowl.
