Pathfinder 1E Paizo cherry picks

I'm about to start a 4E campaign as a GM, and instead of going with the official 4E adventure path(s), I opted for converting Rise of the Runelords to 4E. It might be a bit more work then just running a WotC 4E adventure, but there's so much more stuff/fluff/background out for RotR. I was looking for something that was not a campaign setting my players knew (of), but something that was well supported, PAIZO makes that happen with their Pathfinder line.

I just wanted to thank the Paizo crew for much of the last year's worth of my campaign. I cherry picked ...

This is great to hear! As someone who's been running the RotRL adventure path as-written, it's great to see the stuff make leaps to other stories and campaigns just because of the quality work in them. Glad it worked for you!

This sounds awesome. I have a ton of Paizo adventures as well, and I am in the middle of converting AoW to 4e.

I'd love to share some conversion materials, if you like.

My player's attempted taming of Paizo goblins has made my campaign. D0: Hollow's Last Hope was a great pairing with DCC 0 and Sinister Secret of Saltmarsh to start the campaign.

I'm going to use quite a few locations from the Guide to Korvosa and the Curse of the Crimson Throne AP in my 4e Parsantium campaign - lots of cool stuff! I also have plans to use the kuo-toa temple from Shackled City AP and the spooky farm with the scarecrows from The Skinsaw Murders.

Cheers

I wish I wasn't so hidebound that I felt like I could cherrypick from Paizo products. The problem is always that I think "Man this is too good just to use this piece, my group needs to experience the whole thing!"

I used to be like that but soon realised I wasn't going to be able to run all of the cool adventures and campaigns I owned!

Wow all! Super high praise! Thank you all so much and we're super glad you've enjoyed! While we've gotten a huge kick out of all the people who really seem to enjoy Golarion, we know everyone has their own tastes and desires when it comes to the worlds where they want to tell their stories and--hopefully without sounding to schmaltzy--it's an honor that folks would want to include our ramblings in something as personal as their fantasy creations. So yeah, really truly, thanks!

We've also been working to add more content to Pathfinder to satisfy folks who want to design their own stuff and enjoy the drag and drop style of play. Pathfinder #13 debuts the first of the Set Piece side-adventures, iconic locations similar in theme to the month's Adventure Path adventure that can easily be incorporated into the AP, or used as a one night game, or used down the road when you get to a spot in your game where you're like "Oh, I need an X," be that "X" a thieves' guild, pirate ship, elven ruin, cultist den, or whatever.

So yeah! Thanks again, and we'll do our best to keep up with all your discerning tastes! ^_^
