Actually, the mat is a good idea, although I prefer keeping my folder and DM info there in front of me on the table. My ideal solution would be to make game rules that can be more-or-less memorized and don't have so many tables and such to reference.

Hmmm... ok, now that I've done a test-print, I don't like the resolution of those files. This weekend I'll put up doubled-resolution files. Shoulda done a test print first! Doh! Apologies... download time will be greater for those files, of course. Look for page version 1.5, rather then 1.0.

Yes, me too. I had the opportunity to chat with him over a variety topics on a number of occasions at several GenCons, above and beyond his presence on the various boards (such as here and Dragonsfoot. He is definitely missed. That photo you're referring to was a particularly fond gathering of many Greyhawk greybeards.
