Cameron has a software glitch and loses her memory, causing her to leave the Connors. She is taken in by a homeless kid named Jody, who ends up at a halfway house with her. Meanwhile, Agent Ellison meets with Catherine Weaver to talk about his future with Zeira Corp.

Well I got the Cameron backstory and it wasn't quite as painful as I had feared. It was enough though that I can cross this off my watch list. Too bad a show that had potential at the end of last season has gone so far down.

So... uh... the memory loss thing was just a bit of convenience for back-story telling? (Not that that wasn't interesting.)

Uh-huh.

Pretty intriguing episode yesterday, not only for the Allison Young / Cameron backstory and seeing Allison's mother in the present day, but also for finding out a bit more about Agent Ellison (his ex-wife Lila still works with the FBI) and his accepting Catherine Weaver's job offer.

Also of note is that neither Derek nor Cromartie were in the episode.

When Sarah glanced at the newborn baby boy in the hospital's baby ward, his birth card stated that he was born on 10-2-09. Does that mean that two years have already passed since the jump from 1999 to 2007 in the series premiere?

Next week: A new Terminator that can operate even if his head is blown off starts hunting the group, and John military-style training apparently resumes.

No it just means that they have thrown out all semblance of continuity. I am giving up here because the new writers seem to have no ability to do their job and this is just a symptom of that.

Well that episode pretty much killed it for me. Series recording off.

Mysterious glitch causes Cameron to remember someone else's life and at the end she's back to normal. Felt like one of those Stargate episodes with an alternate timeline where you know nothing that happened counted.

The whole preggers neighbor story was uninteresting, almost annoying.

Next week, looks like another terminator-of-the-week story. How many of those things have to come back before they take over?

I'll be watching these threads to see if the show becomes interesting again.

Wow, you folks must have watched a different episode than me.

I liked this a lot.

I like that Cameron is continuing to malfunction, continuing to prove Kyle right when he was telling John in the first season "it's not a pet".

Also, at the end, when she lies to John about where she got the necklace, that is not the act of a model in good working order.

I agree on both accounts. But that's okay, if they don't watch it, more for me...
Oh wait, that's not how it works, right?

What I also found interesting: John Connor apparently knew the original flesh & bones version of Cameron (Allison).
