Pathfinder 1E Boston Globe Featured Video on D&D (With Pathfinder/Rise of the Runelords cameo!

Nothing spectacular, but the guys playing come off as intelligent and well spoken, and all in all, its a nice little positive piece about the hobby.

Also, the Rise of the Runelords Adventure Path is featured prominently (there's even a map of Golarion on the table at one point) and the players even discuss a bit of the world's history at the very end.

It is amusing to note how many of the speakers have 'software developer' underneath their name.

Nice little bit, there. They certainly come off as well-adjusted as anyone else (beardy guy wins the "most affable" prize).

Neat that they're playing Pathfinder, too.

Those guys could be my game group that is coming over tonight. I could not have said it better myself. Yet I do run into people who find out I play and say "D&D? Really? Say it ain't so.", which further re-enforces my not really using it as an opener in conversation.

The big difference is these days I don't really care what anyone thinks. I'd rather play a good game of D&D than sit and watch a movie or something else mindless.

It opened in Adobe Flash fine for me (Flash 9 for Linux). Perhaps you need to update your version of Flash?

Unfortunately no, I updated to the most recent version a week or three ago.
