Didn't we already have these word kindles one, I think shortly after the release? It's still fun.
4E loves Powers, 3E loves Spells. Seems to fit.

I like how the 3e cloud screams "if you are not a caster, you are ****ed."
I think that Conan, Ffahrd, Aragorn and a whole host of other non spellcasters would disagree with you.I like how the genre screams, "If you are not a caster, you are ****ed."
Exactly. In 4e spells are now just a kind of attack.OTOH, since "spells" are "attacks" in 4e, not much difference.

Well the DMG one that Nightson posted doesn't seem to be working for me right now, but it certainly had adventure. I think it just shows that the PHB is a far more technical rules manual, and the DMG is the "ideas" book.I'm kind of disappointed -- but not surprised (which is maybe even more disappointing) -- at how sterile these are. No sign of "adventure", "quest", "villain", "story", etc.
Dreams for 5e, I suppose.![]()
Both word clouds struck me that way. The 4E DMG word-cloud is more story related. "Characters" is the biggest word. "Adventure" is the third.I like how the 4e cloud screams "If it's not combat-related, it doesn't matter."

Which is why I'm interested in a word cloud that covers only character-creation chapters. I'm quite sure that 4E has more RP-related material in there than 3E does.I'm with previous posters that think that the spell/power lists screw this up.
