Something just struck me really odd about the picture on page 20 of the PHB2

Here we have a savage half-orc barabarian, who obviously can't afford new shoes, and a wild look in his eyes, yet he's taken the time to shave his armpits?

Or do half orcs not grow body hair? I thought that was elves.

you worry about body hair? have you seen the female dragonborn in the PHB? now there's a weird thing (2 really)... for a creature that's not even a mammal...

I'm not the only one who noticed! :D

As I paged through the book last night I asked the same question. Most people standing around me just stared and blinked.

Half-orcs started shaving their pits when they discovered that they were a rarely played race. It happened around the time when metrosexual became the norm. People want to play sexy and/or cool things. It's just their attempt at getting more of a fan base. Poor half-orcs.. They have to wake up a lot earlier each day now to shave all that hair..

Kind of like the following:

for a creature that's not even a mammal...
Actually, as fantastical as it may seem, they are. Read their ecology article. You can still choose to ignore that, but your interpretation of the race is not the one that WoTC presents and thus that complaint as written is simply uninformed and incorrect. Future complaints should be worded differently (Dragonborn -shouldn't- be mammals and -shouldn't- have breasts, instead of dragonborn -are not- mammals and -can't- have breasts).

What? Someone wrote an article describing Dragonborn as mammals?

Indeed they did. Well to be more accurate they are a species of Monotreme (Monotreme - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia)

They are an egg laying mammal species that nurses their young. The article does a very good job of making it all sound good, but what it basically comes down to is Dragons are not lizards. They may look like Lizards but they're not. So if Dragons aren't lizards there's no reason to assume Dragonborn are lizards either. After all a whale looks like a big fish but it isn't. :D
