Unveiled Visage is an Avenger PP (p 46 of PHBII) that has the feature Soaring Charge; this feature has the following text: "When you charge, you can fly your speed as part of the charge."

Since it doesn't say that it replaces any part of the charge, does this mean that when I charge, I can charge my speed *and* fly my speed as part of the same charge?

The only other similar power I could find was Fey Charge, and it is written specifically that you can replace upto 5 squares of movement with Fey Step.

The way I read it is that when you charge you can consider yourself to be flying for any part of the charge.

Not sure whether you are flying with wings or with angelic goodness, but you get to fly into combat.

Presumably you have to end on the ground though (unless they intend that you could charge 6 squares straight up to a flying creature, stab it, then fall painfully to earth again!)

Originally I was thinking that this was similar to Fey Charge (replace some of your movement with Fey Step), but the text seems pretty specific to me. To me this clearly appears to be movement in addition to the norm.

If part of the charge is the ability to fly, that's not an addition. You can either run or fly to your target.
I like it. It seems cool. When it comes to flying creatures.... I would absolutely use it. I love stuff like that.

Since it says, "as part of," my interpretation is that you can replace a number of squares of the charge's movement with flight equal to your speed. I realize I worded that poorly, too...

Basically, a standard creature's speed is 6. Charge gets you 8 squares (speed +2). This PP lets you fly for 6 of those 8 squares.

If it was in addition it would say something like "Before your charge, you can fly-" not "as part of your charge"

Adding your speed to a charge would be ridiculous at level 11, since you could move 3xspeed in your round then...

Incidentally I believe it's wings: check out the art, those look like wings to me.
