The feys are starting to taste the power of the adventurers. Heinrich releases a fast, point-blank range dart at the elf, but it only grazes him. The bugbear quickly steps back, reloads, and shoots again at uncanny speed, this time wounding the scout significantly.
The panther, growling in pain at the repeated attacks, bites at Lorik and almost rips off his leg, then tries to get away.

ooc: Taran, I hadn't noticed myself when you posted, but looking at the map, it's obvious that Derien can't attack the Eladrin from where he is; since you spent all of your actions, I made you attack the panther instead. So Ikni has a +2 bonus to hit the panther.
Heinrich misses with blinding barrage (sorry), so he deals half damage. At least King's castle hit, albeit with no SA.
The panther hits Lorik for 10 dmg (wtf) but eats a combat challenge attack for shifting, then it's Ikni's turn.

Ikni grits her teeth in anticipation and ducks around Lorik, trying to avoid the panther's claws but determined to get to the archer. She shoulders her way through water and vegetation. she pauses for a moment to sketch her arcane bindings on the archer, then charges with a piercing cry. Her blade strikes true, and bands of force wrap around the eladrin's legs.

[sblock=actions]Move: I'm not sure if the green stuff north of Lorik is blocking terrain or merely difficult. I suspect difficult, since the archer doesn't seem to have trouble shooting from there. If so, Ikni moves to J16 via Lorik's square to avoid an AoO. If that's not possible, she'll move to K15 directly instead, taking the AoO. Either way, she should be within two squares of the eladrin.

Minor: Aegis of shielding on the eladrin
Standard: Charge, using foesnare: hits AC 22 for 7 damage, and the eladrin is immobilized until the end of my next turn.

Despite almost losing a leg, Lorik manages to score a major hit on the panther as it tries to slink away.

Emboldened, Derien maneuvers for a clear shot at the Eladrin, but something about the enormous, raging panther draws his attention, and he lets loose a Lance of Faith. Tricky bugger, that panther.

Standard: Zap the panther again, since I have Quarry on it and all. 10 vs. Reflex, no, try again, 6 versus Reflex. Oh well.[/sblock]

The panther gets an ugly cut on its shoulder when it carelessly gets away from Lorik, but it gives another claw mark to Ikni when she passes beside it. Regardless, the bold genasi manages to get past it and her blade reaches the fey archer, that reels back in pain, only to find out he can't move.
But, it seems his resources aren't over: the Eladrin teleports away from Ikni, and shoots and arrow at Haruka, seeing that her spells have proven the most effective weapon. Seeing that the arrow is completely stopped by the arcane shield surrounding the sorceress, he aims another arrow at Ikni, and wounds her badly again.
On the other side of the battlefield, the elf armed with two blades HP:12/24[/COLOR] S:4/7 AP:2, bloodied"]manages to knock Heinrich unsconscious.
The remaining elf archer shoots another arrow at Haruka, but his arrow doesn't even get near it target.

Derien advances towards the front of the action, but fails to affect the anther with a spell of his.

Taran: problem wasn't range, but line of sight. There was that huge tree right between you and the eladrin.

Haruka whips another coil at the archer. However, it appears that fatigue is beginning to become a factor, for at the last second she loses control and the magic discharges uselessly into the muck. Realising the situation she and her companions are in, she stumbles towards the rest of them, pulling a potion from her belt as she does so.
